Hi, I'm Jeanine Wilson, and I've been teaching swim lessons for nearly 30 years. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of helping countless children and families develop confidence in the water while building skills that can last a lifetime.
As an Infant Swimming Resource (ISR) Instructor at the Deaconess Aquatic Center, I am passionate about teaching children essential self-rescue and water safety skills through individualized, one-on-one instruction. Every child is unique, and I believe lessons should be tailored to their specific needs, abilities, and developmental stage. My goal is to create a positive and encouraging environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and successful.
One of the most rewarding parts of my job is watching a child gain confidence and achieve milestones they never thought possible. Whether it's their first time in the water or they're building upon previously learned skills, I love being part of their journey and helping them become safer around water.
Water safety is more than a profession for me—it's a passion. I am committed to providing families with the knowledge, support, and instruction needed to help protect children from drowning and promote a lifetime of safe aquatic experiences.
I look forward to partnering with families to help children gain confidence, independence, and life-saving skills in the water.
Each ISR lesson is custom-tailored to your child, teaching them the self rescue swimming skills that are developmentally appropriate through one-on-one lessons.
Learn MoreDid you know that drowning is the leading cause of death in children under age 5? But it doesn't have to be! ISR teaches each student independent skills in the water so they can swim, float, and self-rescue - building the foundation for a lifetime of safe enjoyment of the water!
